Logos, Websites and other graphic stuff
Graphic design, that is.

A Website…
Still sporting that tacky HTML site from 2001? Let's update that thing and show the world who you really are!

“I Need a Logo!”
Whatever your vision, we can work together to get it on paper. Or business cards. Or tee shirts. You see where I'm going with this.

Gettin’ Hitched?
Contact me for invitations, seating chart, place cards, thank you's, RSVP's, address labels, signage...(am I stressing you out?)

Who Am I...
Creatively?
I’ve been a little artist all my life. Since the beginning of my coloring book days, when I carefully chose the perfect color combinations from my Crayola 64 pack and meticulously colored within the lines. Always the perfectionist.
My style remains very clean and meticulous to this day. I love typography, love it. My favorite artist is Paula Scher. Her work embodies all things typographic, simple and awesome.
I won’t bore you with a listing of my skills (XML, CSS, CS5…WTF?) You can check out my portfolio for a sampling of what I can do.
Professionally?
I graduated from the Art Institute of Washington in 2008 with a degree in Advertising. Not to brag, but (ok, to brag) my Graduate Portfolio won the “Best of Show” award for my graduating class that semester. I got a medal and everything! (I was like, “omigosh, no way!”) You can click here to see samples from that project (and my flashy Flash skills) on my old portfolio site.
Today I work in PR/New Media for the Labor Movement. While I’m blessed to be doing what I love and working for a cause I believe in, I also freelance to feed my creative monster and support my penchant for long happy hours. If you’re interested in donating to either of these causes, please contact me!
I have also volunteered with Ad 2 DC in recent years, an organization I whole-heartedly recommend to ALL young professionals in the Communications industry. Ad 2 has chapters all over the country, so if you fit that description you must look them up! For realzies, do it now!
Personally?
I was born and raised in Columbus, OH (where I did all that coloring back in the day), and I moved to the D.C. Metro area when I was 18. In the decade since then, I’ve been busy with all the things discussed in the first two sections of this loooong narcissistic description of myself.
Today, I live in Gaithersburg, MD with my husband Chris and our spoiled little goldendoodle, Harley. Some of the things we enjoy are golfing, hanging out on the bay in Annapolis, wine (for God’s sake, wine), football (specifically the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Washington Redskins), playing with our friends and grilled chicken wings (seriously, we eat them like twice a week).
And there you have it. My life story.
